KVH Tracvision 3 setup

Hi Guys, sorry but I am a bit of a newbie. Just bought a used KVH TV3 and can't seem to figure out how to get it to stay pointed at my sat.

I have mounted the unit, attached a laptop to the port with hyper terminal, used the commands to point the dish at NIMQ 91w and get signal, then when I hit track the unit moves to some old info in memory and searches ( I have a legit BEV reciever attached). How do I reset the memory to the new sat location. I have used the AZ and ELV commands to poin the dish and tried ZAP and used HELP to list the commands but no luck and documentation is sparce at best.

Any help would be much appreciated.

use the CHANNEL command.. instruct the dish to point to a channel you KNOW is free to air on THAT satellite..

i.e.. lets say 91w has channel 101 on it.. use the command " CHANNEL101" minus the quotes ofcoarse
