"Effective Thursday, July 7th, Engineering plans to spool the FULL PHASE of software version L2.27 for the DP942 receiver. This is primarily a non-forced maintenance release available at ALL satellite locations."

From the Tech Depot

The above information has now been removed from Tech Update. Guess it wasn't quite ready for primetime.

Is it ever with Dish?

It's getting to be very frustrating dealing with their POS equipment.

Any update here guys... ? I would love to get a new version of software allowing me to check signal strength on the voom transponders... :) Any update would be appreciated.. has anyone gotten the update yet?

My remote 2 UHF remote wont work and I have been on the phone with support over the week. Supposedly the new version is coming out next week and should fix my issue. We'll see on both counts.

hah... Very true ;) Dish is SOO slow on the upgrades i find.. it's hillarious that they added the voom transponders and channels a while back and only one model of receiver reflects having these in the signal menu... :) (I know you can trick it using 148.. still though.. thats poor at this stage of the game...) charlie promises the world and delivers little sometimes ;) I would love to be able to see the actual signal strength sometimes of the new transponders that dish has on 61.5 being used for voom.
