I have many tapes of his old radio programs . I thought he was much better when he was on radio. The show was on all night . I worked the graveyard shift back then and listened to many of his shows.

The problem with Larry King is not with his age but with his old and tired schtick. I can't see why CNN has kept him on the air the past 15-years. Regardless, best wishes to an industry legend in him much deserved, and well past due, retirement.

Many might not know this but Larry King is very lucky to be alive. When he had his heart attack back in 1987 he was sent to a hospital that was one of 25 in the whole country that had permission to use a experimental drug called tPA. The doctor told him he could try it to save his life but it wasn't approved by the FDA. King signed the waiver and it saved his life.

Take a look at the Movie Ghostbusters and you see Larry King in his smoking days. He looked much different.
