I know, I know this post doesn't belong here. I was hoping that I might get a couple of responses from some guys that frequent this Forum because I know you guys know a lot and I trust your information. So, mods, if you need to move it I get it. I have a 42 inch LCD (for HD viewing, so hey maybe it is in the right forum:p) that I need to put on the wall that is at an angle so I need one of those that have the arm on it. My brother did his with his 50 inch plasma but I know that the LCD doesn't weigh anywhere near the plasma so I was hoping to get off a bit less expensive. Can you guys point me in the right direction on where ot get a decent deal. I kind of assumed that the ones at Best Muy, Target etc...may be overpriced like their HDMI cables. Thanks for any help. Hate to spend $300 if I didn't need to. Thanks again.

I picked one up at Sams Club for about $60. This was for my 32" LCD Vizio, and the weight limit was rated for up to 60lbs (IIRC). So a 42" LCD should fall within that weight range. It took about 3 minutes to install. I will see if I can find the link for it...was a really good deal (if you can get into Sams. Might be worth getting a membership just for the mount!

And as my wife just said: "Our TV has yet to fall off the wall" :D

In all seriousness, the way mine works it allows for easy removal of the TV from the wall mount. The wall-side of the contraption is always on the wall. The articulating arm actually slides over and locks into place. But if I want to take it down and move the TV temporarily to use as a display monitor at a trade show (very specific recent example), no major tools are needed and it takes all of about 5 minutes taking down or putting up.

Thanks Guys! Iposted this, then forgot about it until today! Thanks again, I will look into your suggestions today!
