Can't you get it done with some support struts coming from the edge of the dish to the scalar? That way at least you wouldn't have to be limited to certain lnbs

BSC 421 is probably the lightest...I have one and it works good.....until the temp gets below +10 then the H side goes in the crapper and doesnt work ;)

so cal sweetness

ice, probably here in the south bay of la, i am safe. thanks for the tip, i ordered it today. also got the prodelin base up, so hardest part is over. now it's just fun!

This is a pic of a Gospell LNBF on my Prodelin, it weighs practically nothing. It cost less than $20 shipped. It gives 75-88Q on 105° (W5) C band.

I only had two on hand to choose from.
The B1stacked from Sadoun, and the CK-1 from SatelliteAV.
I did select the CK-1 because it came with a lighter scalar.
My intent was to use that scaler as an LNB-holder, and fit another (possibly conical) scalar on later.

But the weight of either LNBF didn't really concern me.
My support arms are 1/2" conduit.

Obviously, I didn't have all the other LNB models available to try.
