Now the LNB is soaked after a heavy rain. Having removed the cracked cap and drained out water, it still refuses to work :-( Seems it's time to look for a new one. Any recommendation ? low nise figure with a durable cap.

Thanks in advance,
Lei

I can highly recommend the ASC321's Standard KU LNBF, I recently changed from the ASC321 LNBF and I am very happy with the results, check below for a sample of my results, to be fair the below is not a scientific test just my own results, not every satellite signal showed improvement, but most displayed a significant gain in quality level!

ASC321's SPECS

G3C CCTV-9 was 46Q now 71Q
IA6 May was 61Q now 81Q
IA5 IRIB was 39 Q now 43Q

Over the years I have had some success in drying out soaked LNB, remove the cover if its cracked and leave it somewhere warm and dry, after a few days it may be usable again all be it as a spare or test LNB, unless you can reseal the cap, then it should work as new! This seems to work for me 50% of the time with waterlogged LNB.
