I've got a question for those of you with long memories...

Back in the days before spot beams, Dishnetwork launched locals in Philadelphia using the 129 satellite and a Starband dish (receive LNB only). I remember I had a free upgrade of my 4000s to 301s in order to handle the linear vs circular LNBs, but I'm not sure if there were any differences in the LNBs over a standard or universal FTA LNB. Does anyone know?

I'd climb onto the roof to look for markings, but my knees aren't what they used to be, and I'm trying to make one trip to install the new motor I just purchased from Sadoun. I also tried searching the site, but didn't find an answer.

Thank You,

Wainwright

I think the original 129 dishes were KU standard...like a Superdish

If its still at 129 hook it up and see if you can get White Springs on it
