Upstate NY
I have a 3-LNB Multi-Satellite dish at a camp ground which is 200ft from my site in order to obtain a un obstructed view of the sky.
I ran 1 dual line coax to a tree next to my site and attached a 2x4 splitter/amp to feed my receiver and the site next to me with the ability to run 2 more off it.

The problem is that my local chanels for upstat NY are not what they should be. The menu is correct but the program on 3 chanels are NYC chanels.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pete

With the 2x4 switch (splitter as you called it), you will only get the 101 satellite. Your locals are probably on the 119 sat. Replace the 2x4 switch with the WB68 multiswitch and connect all four lines from the dish to it.

Local Chanels not correct - thanks

Thanks for the response and advice.
I have also been reading up on multi switches.
I see now that a 6x8 switch is the way to go.
