Locals want a piece $ of the streaming action

And my OTA DVR will not lose anything, even if Dish went under.
That is today, it is widely known with ATSC 3.0 broadcasters can set expiration dates on recordings or even block them outright, it gives them the capability.

Kinda tells you why I turned against ATSC 3. I believe those “enhancements” for the customer will be illusory.

But if you want to see “My Mother the Car” on subchannel eleventy-three, you’ll be in business.

PS: I have other options, including hundreds of books and a local library.

I don’t have anything similar for ABC on my Hulu. Maybe it has to be available on TV Everywhere to show up. My locals are not on that. But my Starlink IP address would show Denver or Dallas. But maybe they use my subscription zip code.

I am DVRing my local ABC news-only stream using Channels DVR though. And I get ABC OTA from another market that is closer.
