I have a few receivers, 920,921, and a couple 922, that i would like to
update, just want to do one or two for now
later will do the rest. Please send me a PM. I only use 2 of them
to move the dish, the others are spare.
Thank You
Tede

Tede, do you know anyone who can do soldering/light electronics work? If you do ask them to do the battery swap and point them to this forum for instructions.

Simple rule... Don't remove the new battery before installing the new one.

After a successful battery swap, if you're OK with computers you can do the MapMaster, plenty of us here to help you

Thanks for the reply
I think i can find someone to swap the battery, then i may
need a little help with the MapMaster, i don't think i should have a problem
but a little guidance with this one won't hurt.
Please let me know what kind of battery i need to buy and what other
parts i need to order and where i can find this stuff, i don't know if
there is anybody locally that has it.
Thanks
Tede

If you wanted to take about a 200 mile drive and cross the border I'd do it for you.Ya always wanted to see the Thousand Islands in winter didn't ya.:D

Be sure to check first if lithium batteries can be shipped to your location. i.e. I see most parts places in the U.S will not ship them across the boarder.
You can always try Sayal, they have a few locations including Markham.
