currently have the at250 and dish movie pack . looking to downgrade to save a little which package includes locals mtv hallmark movie & mysteries hd net and mgm network ?

According to Dish's Channel Chart:

MTV: Top 120, Top 200, Top 250
Hallmark Movie & Mysteries::Top 200, Top 250
HDNet Movies (I don't see HD Net): Flex Pack
MGM Network: Dish Movie Pack

So it looks like you can't downgrade and continue to get the channels.

You can drop to the Top 200 and keep the Movie Pack or the Flex Pack with the Movies and Heartland Package

Hey there, Kali05! The lowest package to receive MTV is the Americas Top 120. You are able to add the Locals Pack and DISH Movie Pack to receive Hallmark Movies and Mysteries (ch. 187), HDNet Movies (ch.130), and MGM (ch. 385) to the AT120. -Christina W.

IMHO AT200 has a nice selection of channels. No one here in the household complains about missed shows or channels.

Yeah, you can always downgrade.

Anyway you can save a buck and get rid of channels you don’t watch is good
