Will my existing cabling and connections be the same for me to make the switch out, or does a tech need to come out?

The HR21 is not out yet, so I assume you're talking about the HR20?
If so, the HR20 will require two cables from the dish and two BBC's (at least if you want it to work right), where the H20 only requires one. Other than that it will be the same.
