Looks like there is heavy weather at the upload site in Cheyenne, Wyo. - look at Wunderground.com.

My HD locals off 61.5 are OK, but ESPN on 119 and ESPN2 on 119 are both down.

Now they're back.

I would not be surprised if they come and go as a thunderstorm complex moves through SE Wyoming.

Looks to be weather at uplink. Thunderstorms over Cheyenne WY.

Im surprised it doesnt happen more on their end, I reckon Cheyenne must be a pretty sunny place :)

With 67" a year, Mobile has its own share of rain issues.

now it's back on again, i guess severe weather at uplink centers can affect signals elsewhere.

So this storm is causing signal loss everywhere?

I was just seeing almost total loss on 119 except for TP 2 (spot) and 129 was also out completely.

Appears to be OK now. Local (Alaska) weather is perfectly clear.

So this storm is causing signal loss everywhere?

Yep. A sat is a bent pipe. Signal is normally blocked on the way down. But if it's blocked on the way up, there is no signal to send down.
