I recently moved to an apartment which has SWM. I hooked up my HR-21 receiver. I could only get one tuner to work. The receiver periodically freezes and I have to re-set it. Any help?

Did you check to see if you have single or dual tuner enabled? As I recall it's a choice through the setup process so you're going to have to do a restart. As for checking the SWM and potential freezes I can't offer much help there. Once you get both tuners working, if indeed it's just a matter of setting the receiver to dual tuners, then you can check the SWM strength meter to see what it's reporting and if you're truly getting SWM.

I'd be willing to bet that your apartment is using older STACKED technology, NOT SWM. Stacked is where they take one entire polarity & "stack" it up (frequency-wise) over the entire lower polarity frequency. It normally ONLY gives you the 101 sat, also & none of the H series boxes are compatible with it, sorry. (at least w/out external equipment)

Have you checked ALL your channels - I'd also be willing to bet you're missing some of them, too...
