In my experience, the stealth antenna was inadequate. Replacing it with a better antenna model (cm4248, cm4241, cm4248, etc) can make all the difference.

replacing the stealth with the 25 dollar directional antenna at radio shack can make all the difference. I think its 40 inches long yagi, uhf directional. something like r-75u
