I'm starting this so we can tell everybody something about ourselves, but mostly which teams we support, and where we are from. This will help put the things we write into perspective for everyone. I'll create the template, but feel free to add or subtract any info you feel relevant to yourself.

Residence - Born and raised, and currently trying to escape - Hamtramck MI.

Married with more children than I can count

NFL - Lions, Steelers (got to have somebody good to root for)

NCAA Football - MICHIGAN (I went there)
NCAA Basketball - MSU (My daughter went there)

Likes: Long walks on the beach, spooning, kind people. (Yeah, right)
Seriously: Watching my teams, golf and bowling, and single malt Scotches,

Dislikes: The Detroit Lions management. "That evil school from the South"

Who: HD MM aka Matt

Title: Resident Sports Journalist Extraordinaire with a slight bias towards all things Cleveland.

Born - 8/30/1981

Residence - Born and raised in North East Ohio and currently residing in Lyndhurst, OH.

Marital Status- Married. No children just yet. I do have a pup with the energy of 10 toddlers though. (German Short Haired Pointer).

Occupation - Project Manager for a Mechanical Contractor

Likes: Watching my teams, going to games, tailgating, golfing, watching movies in my HT and cooking (you guys got to check out the What's Cooking Section. I post food creations and pictures there often.)

Dislikes: The whole state of Michigan and Pittsburgh.

Marital Status- Single & Looking.

MLB - Yankees/Mets (by no means a die hard. I don't mind if the Sox/Braves win)

Likes: My wife, playing videogames, watching sports, cracking jokes & laughing, Sirius/XM, watching HDTV.

Dislikes: This could be a whole book, but I'll limit it to Dallas, Apple Computer Corp, and people who can't take a joke.

Residence - Born in Mississippi, lived in Louisiana, and have spent most of my life in Tennessee (with a few stops in South Carolina).

Marital Status- Married with children (well, currently with one child and another on the way).

Occupation - Research analyst

Favorite teams -

NFL - I'm a fairweather NFL fan. Was the Saints, then the Cowboys, now the Colts. I just can't get into the Titans.
MLB - Braves (closest team by proximity). I did like the Reds growing up. Rose and Bench were my favorite players.
NBA - I suppose the Lakers back from the Magic/Kareem days, but pro sports really aren't the same after free agency.
NHL - Is this that hockey thing the people talk about on here?
NCAA Football - Tennessee (from growing up in Knoxville and going to grad school), LSU (my family is from Louisiana), Furman (from I-AA, my alma mater)
NCAA Basketball - Tennessee

Likes: Anything that doesn't suck.

Dislikes: Things that suck.

Occupation - Ex petroleum engineer, currently a stay-at-home Dad of 14 years and family maid/accountant , and soon back to private industry when youngest gets drivers license (if I live that long).

Tena "Lifejacket" or "Cookie" Goble

Born: Sometime in June '72

Current location: Not too far from WV and not too far from VA, but somewhere in E. KY

Sports Experience: studied to be a athletic trainer at U of KY as of this post while helping parents run a camp and helping out in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

-Currently disabled and taking 9 different meds a day and going through Physical Therapy.

-I give advice to adults and kids regarding camping, youth camps, retreats and management related issues.

-In the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, I worked with several high school and college athletes who later played or are still playing in the professional ranks.

-I tell high school students that are in high school if they have "scout burnout" but still want to make a difference, to join the FCA. It helped me with my skills working with kids.

-I've worked with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, been a Girl Scout, been the boss, so I've been on both sides of the fence... and on the fence.

-When I was going to school and college, some people though it was fun living on a camp... not so!

Favorite Sports: Football (college level), Basketball, Curling and Ice Hockey (part Canadian), occasional Ice Skating.

The "Lifejacket" nickname was given to me as a kid after a swimming incident, the "Cookie" nickame because of Girl Scout Cookies.
