Missing any programming from 61.5 or 121?

My parents have a Dish 500 system and they subscribe to the Americas Top 120, HBO,Starz and the HDPAK. They have two model 311 receivers and a model 811 HD receiver. Their current Dish 500 system only recieves programming from orbital postions 110 & 119. Since there are two other Echostar birds at orbital postions 61.5 & 121, is there any programming they are not receiving from either of these birds? If so, can additional dishes be pointed at one or both of these birds and integrated with their current configuration?

I would only add a 61.5 dish if they have to do it for free (meaning your in a local market with channels in the wings) otherwise there's no big deal and not worth.

Just to clarify that Echostar also has satellites at 105, 148 and 157. The satellite at 105 only provides locals in select markets and the crippled Echostar 4 at 157 does not provide any programming to customers. The programming at 61.5 is basically duplicated (sans Sky Angel) at 148.

105 is a higher power KU bird using linear polarity, correct? If I remeber correctly, this was the Superdish bird that did not have a footprint that covered the entire US.

CBS HD is on 61.5 if your allowed to get distant networks.

Here's what I got.

Just emulated the Mad Scientists dish hook-up, wish I had paid more attention to the details before starting. Am getting 61.5, 105, 110, 119, & 121 sats. will need another dish to get 148, but not sure if I can get a view through all the trees around here.

With AT180, this is what I got on the "other" sat's:

Don't bother looking for 148 - IIRC, no E* boxes support 6 birds.

Curious, the check switch screen shows 61.5, 105, 110, 119, 121 & 148. The system info screen has room for six sat's as well.

Maybe you can only have 5 of the six, maybe not... I'm going to have to check this out for myself now. (Probably won't work, but what the heck)

What receiver do you have? The 921 only has room for 5 birds.

Oh - and note that 148 is going to basically be a mirror of 61.5

Well, I'll post back when I get a chance to check. Couldn't do it today - the new LNB's I ordered came yesterday, but I screwed up and got legacy and not pro. (sigh...) Oh well, now I have something to do next week-end.
