missing channels on ariza extreme?

i gave my brother inlaw a ariza extreme . he is using it for amc4 the
christian channels but he is missing 2 channels,3abn and the hope channel? it looks if their is no signal on a couple transponders,was wondering if it needs to have the factory flash reinstalled? it was used for another purpose.but the thing is i had it hooked up here at my home i got all of the channels when i hooked it up panning some of the fta sats.

Take his Ariza to your place, scan em in, bring the box back to his place? That and make sure the factory software is intact.

dont mean to bump this up,just wondering if anyone has anything else to add ? brother-inlaw is bugging the crap out of me.lol.i dont have a dish set up for amc4. i had it up just finding what what sattelite is where and see what channels are on them at the time. i
was only interested in g10r .

Is the LNB type matched the LNBF (standard / universal). Are just vertical or Horizontal transponders showing quality? Did you do a transponder scan or a power scan when adding the channels for AMC4?

Try doing a factory reset then set the LNBF type and perform a power scan.

the LNBF standard / universal are matching,does the extreme have a blind scan? vertical or Horizontal transponders,not sure what you mean by that?he has a standard lmbf (10750).
