MLB 2010 Season

Now it is worth talking about and because of the stupid FOX and MLB blackout rules, I cannot watch it.

He just lost it with 2 outs in the 8th

Code:
Pitchers IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA
D Matsuzaka 8.0 1 0 0 4 5 0 112-73 5.76

Philadelphia - Bottom of 8th
Daisuke Matsuzaka pitching for Boston
R Ibanez walked.
C Ruiz lined into double play, third to first, R Ibanez doubled off first.
J Castro singled to left.

Reds win and Cardinals lose so the Reds are back in first.

Did anyone see the HR against the Nationals ?

CF'er goes back to the wall, misses it, gets pissed and slams his glove down while the ball sits there and the runner keeps going for an inside the park HR.

I hope they sit this kid (CF'er) for awhile.

ESPN's clip on TV was better .

Code:
Pitchers IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA
T Wakefield (W, 1-2) 8.0 5 0 0 2 1 0 102-68 4.44

Needs just 16 more wins to tie Roger Clemens and Cy Young for first place on the Red Sox all-time wins list!

That was the second ITP HR he allowed in just four days!!

The Blue Jays are impressing me so far- above-average pitching, awesome home run power.

If only they played in another division than the AL East, they'd be a likely division champ.

Jays would be in third place at the moment in the AL Central, 1st in the AL West, but 2nd or third in the NL divisions.

Is that so much better than where they are ?

Tonight, Dice-K has a no-hitter going against Philly through four innings, ...

Four innings does not even close to being deep enough to start talking no hitter, particularly against what can be considered the best offensive team in baseball. Wait until he pitches about 6 innings of no hit ball before we start thinking no hitter

Now it is worth talking about...He just lost it with 2 outs in the 8th

Lester has a no-hitter through three. AntAltMike scoops the internet again!

Hey, Vurbie. Who has the best starting pitching now in the American League?
Code:
Pitcher IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA
J Lester 6.0 1 0 0 5 9 0 111-64 3.15

And who's hotter than David Ortiz?:p

The Padres continue to win with smoke and mirrors (i.e. defense and good pitching). Blanked the Cardinals with a 1-0 win at home, and extended their NL West lead over the Dodgers.

Adrian Beltre, maybe? Ortiz is 2-4 with a homer tonight, Beltre is 4-5 with two homers and six RBI. Who else is in the hunt for AL Player of the Month?

Brenden Boesch - Tigers

27 GP, 35 hits, 11 2B's, 2 3B's, 4 HR's, 22 RBI's, .343 BA.

This might be slightly more than a month, I'd have to figure out how many games they have played this month.

And a Rookie to boot !

Never heard of him!

Nice numbers, though. Looks like a Rookie of the Year candidate!

He's also got to deal with the other rookies in the line up... :)

Austin Jackson has the most hit and highest avg for a rookie , playing CF in spacious Comerica park. Boesch is currently playing either LF or RF depending on whos in and out that day.

Jackson's numbers are over all better as he's been here since opening day.
