Uribe should win the gold glove for 3rd. He won't because he is not putting up the offensive numbers to get the attention.

Today it is Pence 3 and and A-Gon 3. Two players have driven in all of the runs for both teams.Hunter Pence is humbling the hell out of the Dodgers this series!!!!

I'm am just glad to see Marmol go that deep and only make two mistakes during the whole game (both to Pence), considering he is just filling in for injured pitchers.Yes, but Pence did his damage at a very important time by knocking the starting pitcher out of the game without a win. It ain't over yet but you have to hand it to Pence this weekend.

All of the Dodger posters on Twitter are talking about how this game has a spring training feel. It does too me as well. I think it is because we have a bunch of no name players playing in a game in which it really doesn't matter if they win.
You keep saying that, but this game could be the difference between playing an NLDS game 5 at Dodger Stadium or at ATL/PIT/STL/CIN.
But, at least they'll be healthier playing on the road!!
It can only help health-wise. No guarantee. But, at least they'll be healthier playing on the road!!
Try reading what I wrote. I didn't say "These", I said "This", as in this one particular game.lol It's one thing to prioritize rest over going for HFA (I don't agree with that, BTW), but's it another thing to say these games "don't matter". OF COURSE THEY DO!!!

Answer these: Does it matter if the Dodgers go into AZ with a magic number of 3 instead of 4? How many wins will they need in AZ to clinch if it is 3 vs 4?
HFA does not matter if you field a playoff starting lineup of guys by the name of VanSlyke, Young, Schumaker, Gordon, and Buss, instead of Kemp, Ethier, Puig, Crawford, Ramirez, and Gonzalez. Keep pushing these injured guys and they won't win any playoff games no matter which stadium they play.Okay fine, "this" game. But "this" game could be the difference between a winner take all game 5 at Chavez Ravine vs. going on the road for a decisive game 5. And I don't understand why you keep bringing up the magic number over AZ. The NL West ship sailed weeks ago, I'm talking about HFA (which could be HUGE), and you're saying "this" game "doesn't matter".
Not when you field a lineup of guys by the name of VanSlyke, Young, Schumaker, Gordon, and Buss, instead of Kemp, Ethier, Puig, Crawford, Ramirez, and Gonzalez. Keep pushing these injured guys and they won't win any playoff games no matter which stadium they play.
I don't understand why people have a hard time understanding this. The coaching staff, media, and experts understand what is going on.
Kemp has shoulder, ankle, and hamstring injuries, that keeps sidelining him. Should they play him now or wait until the playoffs when he is more healed?
Hanley has back and hamstring problems that need to heal. Should they play him now or wait until he is strong and when it matters more, the playoffs?
Crawford has leg issues that require some rest. Should they play him every single game or baby him so he is strong when it comes to the playoffs where the games are more important?
Puig has had a nagging hip issue for about a month that pops up when he plays too much. He got it in CO when he jumped up to catch a fly ball off the wall. Should they play him every day making the injury worse, increasing the chance that he may not play in the playoff if it gets worse, or should they rest him along the way so he is healthier for games that matter more, the playoffs?
We are not talking about resting healthy players. We are talking about resting players that have been injured all year and these issues keep recurring. These just happen to be the most important players in the lineup.
