MLB 2021 Season

It will be a wild game #162 Sunday for the 2 AL Wildcards! Both the Red Sox and Yankees control their own destiny. Also, the Giants have a 1 game lead over the Dodgers in the NL West. If the Giants lose today and the Dodgers win, there will be a 1 game playoff to determine the division winner.

So if the Yankees and Red Sox lose and Seattle and Toronto win then what?

MLB must feel like it hit the jackpot with 4 of their biggest brands playing in the respective single elimination playoff games.

My postseason predictions:

American League
Wildcard- Red Sox over Yankees

ALDS
Rays over Red Sox in 4
White Sox over Astros in 5

ALCS
White Sox over Rays in 6

National League
Wildcard- Dodgers over Cardinals

NLDS
Dodgers over Giants in 6
Brewers over Braves in 5

NLCS
Brewers over Dodgers in 7

World Series
White Sox over Brewers in 6

This is interesting ... Both the Red Sox and Astros have been wildly inconsistent .... depending which side of the bed they get out of, either could go on a streak and win it all, or go out in the 1st round. Being the Red Sox is a 1 game round, we'll know soon.

Go Red Sox

Red Sox move on to play the Rays ....

Red Sox beat the yankees 6-2 as superstar Garrett Cole goes only 3 innings.

Incredibly that was the best all around game the Red Sox have played since July. Red Sox have now won 8 of their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees dating back to the 2004 ALCS.
