MLB EI 2026

Braves games 646 on DIRECTV.
Not anymore. All of the MLB teams left FanDuel. The Braves will be launching their own network called BravesVision which will be on channel 645. The channel numbers for the other teams haven't been announced yet.

I assume BravesVision will make it to DirecTV in time for opening day?

Are they using the same channel numbers for the teams as they did with the RSN's ?
Astros WERE on 674
Tigers 663
Red Sox 628

The Red Sox and Astros are not leaving their RSNs

They haven't announced channel numbers for the new to MLB distribution teams like the Tigers, Mariners, Marlins, Rays, Reds, Cardinals, Royals, Angels, Brewers and Nationals

Probably not as the old RSN's are still using those channel numbers until the end of the NBA and Hockey seasons.

Usually they try to put them on a dedicated number near their former RSN or on a subchannel so all of the teams from the same region are still grouped together.

I wouldn't be surprised if they shuffle things around in the fall to give more teams dedicated numbers instead of subchannels after the FanDuel RSNs shutdown and their remaining NBA and NHL teams announce if they plan to go with broadcast (Suns/Golden Knights/Panthers/Mammoth/Jazz), free streaming (Ducks/Stars), or a hybrid that also includes a team channel for some markets (Lightning/Blazers/Kraken/Mavs/Pelicans)

Also, for those who missed last week's announcement, residential customers who subscribe to Apple TV via DIRECTV will be able to watch Friday Night Baseball on DIRECTV this season.

They updated the RSN article to include channel numbers for most of the MLB teams:
MLB Nationals - 641
BravesVision - 645
MLB Rays - 652
MLB Marlins - 655
MLB Reds - 661
MLB Guardians - 662
MLB Tigers - 663
MLB Twins - 668-3
MLB Brewers - 670
MLB Royals - 671
MLB Cardinals - 672
Rangers Sports Network - 677
MLB Rockies - 683
MLB Diamondbacks - 686
MLB Mariners - 687
MLB Padres - 694

MLB Angels is still TBD

For those of you that had the RSN's previously, it looks like a lot of the stations stayed the same.

Only the Mariners kept Root's number

The rest either have numbers near their former RSN or will be subchannels if the posted number conflicts with one of the FanDuel RSNs

i.e. FanDuel Detroit will still be active for the rest of the Red Wings and Pistons seasons, so the Tigers will probably be 663-3. The Reds will probably be on 661-2. The Royals will probably end up on 671-6 as the Kansas City subregion will still be active for the Blues and the imported Thunder and Timberwolves games. The Angels will probably end up on 689 or a subchannel of 692
