MLB Network Thurs. Night Lineups Announced

so it looks like if your team is one of them involved, it will be blacked out (obviously to make you watch the local telecast)

wonder what happens if a game is not televised by a team that is involved? Do they lift the blackout?

I believe so. As you well know, Thursdays are mainly travel days for many teams and those that play are mostly doing "get away games" to get to their weekend cities. Alot of smaller market teams are radio broadcast only those days.

It would only make sense.

Whatever happened to the possibility of Sat night games on MLBN?

Bob, This is just the start of the season coverage. Perhaps they will do Saturdays as the summer comes on. I used to love the F/X Saturday night games back before Extra Innings. In fact that's where I first heard Matt call a game.

exactly. I know the Twins do a lot of 12:15 CST Thursday games and most are not on TV

They blacked out the Yankees last weekend here in the NJ/NY area and neither YES nor WOR Channel 9 had the game.
