MLB schedules

FSN West and FSN Detroit both NOT in HD tonight.

Tigers also not scheduled for HD on Tuesday or Wednesday. EI schedule for Tuesday shows HD.

That explains why I couldn't find the Angels satellite feed. FSN only has so many feeds for HD. 7 on G11. I'm not sure how many on G15. Haven't been on that bird long enough to tell. Angels are usually on G11. Mariners have one of those 7 almost 24/7. My guess for Tuesday, Astros, Pirates, Brewers, Rockies, Dodgers, Angels, Mariners for G11.

Wow, a Sun Sports HD game. Either this is a first or I can't remember the last time one was in HD on Sun Sports.

Fox was advertising Red Sox-Reds as their lead game next Saturday. Is it 1975 again?

EDIT: I guess they want to showcase the phenom- Jay Bruce.

It's better than the other games: Dodgers/Tigers (Two underachieving teams) and Phillies/Cardinals (Not an Interleague Game.)

Also, it'll be quiet interesting to see how Manny does in such a bandbox of a park.

Feel bad for Big Papi- I know he would tee-off in Cincy.

Not to mention that they are hoping Griffey holds out on 600 til Saturday.

With Papi's knee I doubt he would have started more than one or two games at first base in Cincy (and Philly and Houston, for that matter).

Non-DirecTV EI viewers in So Cal see what DirecTV EI viewers see at least once a season. The cut-off of a game before the actual game is over.

TV viewers cut off from end to Angels' game
A communication error is blamed when Channel 13 goes from broadcast to movie, 'Smilla's Sense of Snow,' at 5 p.m., right before A's dramatic walk-off grand slam by Ellis to win, 7-3.

This is what I wrote back to him:

Hi Mike -

You must not have DirecTV. DirecTV EI viewers get cut off of a game at least once per season before it's over. The example this year is the Reds/Padres game that went 18 innings. DirecTV only has a 6 hour window for games. No one works at DirecTV on the weekends to adjust it. When the game went past the 6 hour mark (which happened to be in the bottom of the 18th), all we got was the DirecTV logo on the Reds and Padres feeds right before the 3-run homer. Sorry to see that it happened again, but with EI we expect it.

Angels game

Oh! I was FURIOUS!!! Despite the fact that it was an Angels' loss to a salami, I wanted to see it happen and not have to run to the radio to hear Rory call it. Ah...technology!!!!!:mad:

A loss is a loss, nobetheless.

As a Sabres fans, listening to crushing losses on the radio isn't different than on TV.
