Hi guys, I just received 2 of the C2 lnbs from the group buy at satelliteav. I have a 1.2m primestar (channelmaster) dish that I want to use as a mini bud. My problem is the lnb holder on the primestar is too small for the larger c-band lnb. I also have one of the brackets from satelliteav made to use on a offset dish with the c2. My problem is that the 1.2m has the 3 support arms held together by the plastic lnb holder which is in the way of mounting the bracket from satelliteav. I thought of tieing the three support arms together with steel rods further down towards the dish. This would allow the removal of the factory lnb holder and the use of the new holder. Has anyone else modded one of these dishes for c-band and if so how did you do it? Any ideas would be great and pics would be wonderful.
