is the Motor Elevation 55.8 for thompson manitoba canada?

you have to use the latitude side which I cant find Thomson but Flin Flon is at 54.46 so that probably is right

Set the elevation angle for the motor. This angle should be equal to the latitude value of the installation location. See table below for different models of motors. Always use the Latitude scale on the motor.

The latitude is 55.8° for Thomson, so set the the elevation to 55.8 on the "latitude" scale of the motor. IF you don't have a latitude scale on the motor but only an "elevation" scale, then the elevation scale setting is 90°-55.8°=34.2°
