Hey guys,

I used to be able to watch create tv on 125W but now whenever I turn to it, sometimes it stays and other times the motor moves the dish back to the center (I'm guessing its reached the limit). I havent set a limiit in the settings, in fact I used to be able to see 129W when there was something on it...

So can time/wind/weather affect these things? Anyone knows why it stays on 125 sometimes and sometimes not?

I have a big dish with a motor and arm. The one I just replaced worked fine for years. Then all of a sudden no matter what satellite I would put it on the east/west limits would would draw up to it and lock the dish in that postion. I would reset the limits and it would happen again. My friend, the former installer said that the motor quit reading the information that the 922 was sending to it. He had one on his truck and he swapped out the old one (for free, of course) and that solved the problem. This is the fourth arm and motor I've had on this BUD since 1983 and that one is the only one that I had to replace that wasn't due to mechcanical failure. So yes, everything you mentioned above will take it's toll.

A motor only does what it's told
When mine have reached a Limit, they stop - it's LED light flashes or is Red / Orange

Are you using USALS or Diseqc 1.2?
