Moving Star 250gb EHD with 211 receiver

I bought this back in March, now all of a sudden HD recording are freezing and the unit restarts, it's working fine for SD recordings for some reason. Did Dish do a software upgrade recently?

When I removed the DVR from the 211 in the settings, I reconnected and it gives me an error that it is not compatible. UGH WTF

I have a Seagate drive connected to a 211 and I am having the same problem. Called Dish and they told me they do not support because the drive is not part of their equipment.
