So MTV K, MTV Desi, and MTV Chi are biting the dust. DirecTV was the only company that carried them, so let's honor their memory by putting their bandwidth to good use by adding MTV Hits and MTV Jams and VH1 Soul and (hell) CMT Pure Country. The 101 does nothin' for me. John Mayer and me don't mesh, you guys.

Unless you have an international dish pointed@95, you, nor anybody else would be able to take advantage of "that bandwidth saved" anyway...

I'm waiting with anticipation that's why I subscribe to D* instead of E*.D* has more national channels.

P.S. Plus they don't lose them because of" contract talks"!.

Whens the last day for these 3 MTV world channels?

Does Directv plan to reolace these with MTV HITS channel?

Don't know when the last day is. I wish they would replace them with something like Hits, but I totally doubt it. I wish MTV would rebrand all the channels in the digital suite, because I know DirecTV is very friendly about adding them when that's the case. The only reason we got VH1 Mega Hits was because it became Logo. The only reason we got BET Gospel was because they made it BET J.

Putting MTV Tr3s in an English-language package would be pretty cool, too.
