My bill

Sorry if this has been covered before. I did some searches, but did not find anything useful. Can someone help explain my bill to me? I have a 722, a 625, AT250, DISH HD, DHPP, and DVR Advantage. I canceled my free HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime in early December, but I still don't understand what they are doing on my bill with partial months, etc.

Partial months usually only occur when you've made changes to programming. Looks like you signed up 6 months ago and have some promotions. Here's what your bill should be:

49.99 - DVR Advantage
10.00 - up DVR Advantage to Top 250
20.00 - HD (this plus the above $10 is the DISHHD WITH 1 PREMIUM PACKAGE 30.00 from your bill)
5.00 - Additional Rcvr (for 625)
5.98 - DVR service fee (for 625)
5.99 - DHPP
-20.00 - free HD promo
- 5.99 - free DHPP promo

70.97 - Total (plus whatever taxes are for your area, which I assume is what takes it up to $76.00)

You can't have DVR Advantage with AEP. Switching to AEP would be:
94.98 - AEP
5.00 - local channels (if you want your locals from Dish)
20.00 - HD
5.99 - DHPP
5.00 - Additional Rcvr (for 625)
5.98 - DVR service fee (for 625)
-20.00 - HD promo
- 5.99 - DHPP promo

110.96 - Total (plus taxes for your area)

AEP includes all the premium movie channels, so not sure why you'd want to switch to that if you just canceled all of them. Someone feel free to correct me if I did something wrong.

Thanks for explaining. I canceled the premiums because they were no longer free.

Seems like AEP isn't that great of a deal based on your feedback. The premiums would be $10 each to add to my current package, so $40 more total for all 4. AEP would cost me $39.99 more. I save 1 cent by choosing AEP instead of what I have now plus 4 premiums?

Still, it is still $10 cheaper than I was paying TWC for Standard + Digital Tier + HD Package + 2 DVRs and no premiums, and I get lots more HD, more channels overall, and better DVRs.

AEP also covers all dvr fees, so the fee above for the 625 should be omitted.

If you add all 4 premiums, they automatically bump you up to AEP...if you look at your bill online it will still say you have the AT250 package, the only difference will be you will have the 4 premiums listed there too..the catch to AEP is the waiving of the DVR service fee..it is saving me $12.00 a month to have AEP, I just upgraded it like 3 days ago
