Can someone help me please ??

Hello and WELCOME to the SatelliteGuys.US FTA forum.

Have you tried a hard reboot, unplugging the unit for 30 seconds? Then doing a factory default setting.

What do you mean not responding? (Check remote Batteries)

Moving to the main FTA area.

The unit will not respond to front panel controls or remote..
I am new @ this soplease bare with me.
''factory default''?
I did try the hard reboot NOTHING still

Thanks for you assistance

that is pretty odd. I've had a Captiveowrks for a while now and never had it shut down.

Did you do anything to it that might make it shut down? Did you try and load new software into it?

So if you flip the switch off on the back of the unit and back on, it should come back up. The front menu should work.

If not, then you have a dead one and would have to send it back to the dealer you got it from.

what software version is in the unit? Do you know that?

factory deafults is under option 2 I think (menu 2)

Do not know what software.
I can not get the unit on to get to any options..

No not coors light,
A friend of mine gave me another FTA reciever
said it is a ''Silver Bullit'' (''I needed to know that'')

"It was pointed @ echostar 4 I think..
