My TV Fool...What antenna do you recommend?

I'm thinking of going to Tablo DVR with Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime. I already have Netflix and Chromecast.


What are some of your thoughts?

That's a pretty sad report. I think you will have issues getting reliable reception.

Are you sitting in a valley? Reception is going to be a problem only good thing is you are UHF. Everything seem to be 2 EDGE even in the 20 mile range. Go for the best UHF antenna you can afford.

Not really in a valley, planning on mounting it on the Dish network mount on the roof.

Agree with jayn here. May not dependable But for any chance I'd think the best bet would be either an 91XG or a DB8.
Aiming the antenna up towards the top of the terrain in the way may help. (You had to choose the creek bed over a hilltop??)

Definitely wouldn't recommend one of those in your situation. I've had good results with 2Edge reception at 57 miles with the 91XG (mentioned by FaT Air) paired with a good amp. http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=91XG&d=Antennas-Direct-91XG-UHF-TV-Antenna-(91XG)&sku=853748001910&q=91xg
