Has anyone seen the new NASA signal on AMC3 @ 87W?

I haven't been able to find it yet using this tp info:

4000 H 28112
DVB-S, 4:2:0, FEC 3/4

Still coming in loud and clear on AMC7 @ 137W, not sure about the 72W feed as I can't get the BUD I am currently using over that far east.

Not sure if my settings are incorrect, it's just not there yet, or....?

I've been watching the transponder since about 3:30AM, but nothing.
Their web page says that they've moved already.

amc 6 (4040 V) has one channel telling about the new location. LIMOs are gone.
amc 7 (4060 V) has one channel, slightly different, telling about the new location.

So they are going to just one bird.

There is another new transponder just a bit up, at xxxx. Looks to be similar width to the xxxx 4.2.2 transponder that was on AMC6, however I can't get it to lock.

EDIT: X'd out parameters, but a blind scan will find it.

xxxxxxxxxx just popped in, then popped out again, so they're still testing.

It WAS 4.2.2 when it popped in.

EDIT: Back in again. WSGT

EDIT2: Just remembered, that isn't an advertised channel, so I'm x-ing out parameters.

EDIT3: OOPS, it just changed SR, and the freq jumped a bit higher too???

EDIT4: Back to where it was. It looked wider because they were trying to squeeze the other narrow 4.2.2 channel in next to the wider one. The wider one is going on and off and on and off, and I can hear the narrow one in there, but can't lock on it because they don't leave it on long enough. Guess it's better to just wait until they are done.

Appreciate everyone looking for the turn on of the transponder. At least I was able to go out and rotate my feedhorn in some warm weather (at least for CT)!

I'm receiving Nasa fine on the little Unimesh dish.

Azbox Q 51%
Vantage Q86%
9200HD 53%

Everything seems to be about the same as AMC-6.

Did a scan on 4000MHz and came up with 4 channels... then went dark again.

Getting HQ1 at 2:30 central time. About 80%Q on 4000 H 28112.

Right now, there is only one channel in the 4000 mux, SID#101.

Also, the 4.2.2 transponders are gone again, but the 3866 transponder is still there.

Then, as I typed the above, the 4.2.2 transponder came back.
I guess they're doing a LOT of experimenting.

They will probably be up and down for a while. Changing birds is all new for NASA. They have been on there old locations forever.

Looks like I'll be doing a re-point of PortaBUD whenever this rainy mess clears up. I had expected 83W to go live soon after the first of the year, I didn't really expect them to suddenly switch without any overlap time (i.e., both satellites being active to allow time for people to re-aim their dishes)...

Looks like all 4 transponders are up this morning. Still only one channel on the big 4000 mux though.

All fine here now... LIMO and the three HQ channels all look business as usual.
Might save a bit of mileage on my actuator, won't be going to AMC-6 much now..
