Some great earth obs on NASA right now...
Why do I get the urge to put on "The Blue Danube" ? lol

I love the video of Earth that is sent down during the shuttle missions. It is hard to resist recording hour after hour of it on my PC or on the Visionsat PVR :)

Are you getting NASA on 119? I put a little pizza dish on 119 the other week specifically to watch NASA but couldn't get it. I got the E* promos but no NASA. Even tried manually entering the channel, but no dice. I'm using a Mercury II receiver. Lyngsat has it on 12370R - is this a weak TP? Lyngsat says the beam is CONUS so that shouldn't be the issue.

I get NASA from the c-band satellites, digital. I have a c-band dish pointed at AMC6, just for NASA, a 7.5 perfect 10 mesh, works pretty well.

Oh. Then maybe my problem was that NASA isn't in the clear on 119. Lyngsat shows NASA as FTA on 119 but maybe Lyngsat isn't always right. Anyone know?

Watching NASA at this very moment on 119w. I believe that Dish must carry NASA unencrypted, not sure about that. The original feed is C-Band on AMC-6 (among others), Dish receives that feed, re-encodes it, and re-transmits it on 119w. You will need a circular DBS LNB (L.O. 11250) to receive anything on 119w correctly.

Nasa

I get all the NASA channels solid on C band with a 6' dish.
