NBC HD Football - MIA in San Diego

Is it me or is anyone else in San Diego not getting the Chief/Colts game in HD? New slimline dish and all good on every other CH but not HD from D* or from OTA for NBC. What gives?

Sounds like your local San Diego NBC has a problem since D rebroadcasts their HD signal. I live in N Cal everything ok here.

Good here in AZ too. Call your local affiliates engineering ph#. Game is listed as showing local HD; the key to a local issue is the OTA.

NBC Problems

I talked with DIRECTV Tech Support. They were aware of the problem. It appears it is up to the local affiliate (KNSD San Diego in this case) to get their signal to a common DIRECTV location. DIRECTV takes it from there.

The local NBC folks either had an equipment failure on the HD side of the house, or lost the physical link to connect to DIRECTV.

If you were recording the broadcast in HD, like I was, you were outta' luck....

NBC doesn't do HD at all here so be lucky you got NBC HD at all
