On 3/18/19 KTLA 5.1 and KDOC 56.1 changed their OTA broadcast freq.
I can rescan local channels, but when the rescan is complete, I hit the OK button, then about 10 seconds later, the 722K locks up and reboots, so I can't add all channels.
I have 2- 722K's and they both do the same thing and I can no longer get 56.1 or 5.1 OTA channels on either one.
Has anyone been able to do a OTA rescan and get the 2 channels back?

Have you tried contacting the broadcasters?

Have you tried contacting the broadcasters?
I have only contacted dish and they have no idea.
'My other devices rescan with no problem, so I don't think the broadcasters could be of any help.

I seem to remember low signal levels causing lockup and reboots when scanning. Not necessarily the new channels but other channels.
I think a possible solution was to delete all the channels, save and reboot, followed by a rescan for all the channels. In between the reboot and rescan, pulling the adapter may even be part of the suggested solution.

I haven’t had OTA for 8 years now so my attention (and retention) to the scanning issues has waned. But sometime my memories come back ;)

I'm having the same problem with with ota on my 211k's ,dish has not put the new freq for KTLA but my other TV's did scan the new freq, so its is a dish problem, I tried deleting channel 5 but no luck

also the lockup you refer to is just the reboot, it saves the changes the it has to then reboots

This is not a reboot and save. After the rescan, I hit ok, then the 722K locks up and reboots, then returns to previous channels. I can't hit the save all button, since the receiver has locked up and won't take any remote commands.

I tried the same thing by deleting KTLA and KDOC.
Are you saying dish said they did not put up the new freq.?
I am hoping that when CBS changes their freq. on 4/12/19 that more people may call in and get this problem fixed.

I would try deleting and trying to re-add a channel you don't watch and see if the same thing occurs.

If the channel is able to be re added, it points to p probable problem with the new channels' PSIP data.

That may work, but I don't want to take the chance of loosing all 115 channels until I know for sure.

I tried that and now the two channels I deleted are gone now.
I can't add any channels back, since it locks up every time I go through the rescan process and hit the ok button.

Have you done the manual add channel?
I tried that, but I don't see any way to add a decimal point like 5.1 or 56.1 in my case.
It looks like no channel can be added unless it is in the system from a previous scan.
If I put back the two I deleted, then I am right back to where I started, with no signal.

no what I did was , select all, then delete, I then checked that I had no locals, then I scan locals again

Did your 211K lock up like my 722K when going through process?
What exactly did yours do before when you tried a rescan?

originally when I first tried doing just a local scan it would scan then say done , I could not move to anything ,after about 15 sec ( could be what you are calling a lockup) it would reboot, the same if I just tried add locals, the last time I deleted all , then redid a scan and every thing came back up

Maybe the 211K has a different software than the 722K.
What both my 722K's do is when I scan for local channels, it will scan fine, then you have to hit the ok box, before going to the next step to add all channels, but at that point, it has locked up and it will not take any commands from the remote and then restarts and I am back to where I started.
I am surprised that there are not others having this issue, unless there aren't many of these models around anymore.
