I just got DirecTV installed today and I'm trying to program a remote (Philips) which I bought at Wal-Mart. None of the codes listed for DirecTV work for the remote and I tried a manual code search with no success. Does anyone know of a remote that works good with an H21 receiver and can be programmed easily? Thanks.

Tried codes and did a codesearch without any positive results, conclusion? no codes give it up.
Current Directv receivers use a codeset that NO other brand of sat receiver EVER used before. So if codes under the Directv brand don't work, than there isn't any.

Thanks Edmund, I bouight another newer remote (RCA) and I got everything to work except the guide. It's for my wife and as long as she can change channels and direct access by punching the channel number in she's ok. Thanks for the help.
