Need help syncing receiver and pc.

Is it possible to get some help or be pointed in the right direction with syncing my receiver and laptop? I'd like to stream music through my receiver.

Also, can someone help with this issue. I have my internet and phone service through my cable company. The modem and router for the both of them are located on the 2nd floor of my townhouse. My DirecTV receiver is in the 1st floor living room. Is it possibly to wirelessly link the receiver with my modem/router so I can access my Caller ID and On Demand??

you need 2 homeplug power strip. one on each end. you can get em from directs website or call to place an order for us to come out and install it for an extra fee. once installed connection established, it's gonna be about 24 hours until you see a diffrence in your menu and on demand channels start popping up.
