I have 2 DVR's. Each has 2 inputs. I ran coax to a third TV from one of the DVR's with a splitter. I can only watch what is on that TV. That is Ok with me, but I would like to know if there is a way to be able to use a remote. It is a separate room on the opposite end of the house.

from what im getting from your post, you want to be able to control a dvr in another room with the remote. X10 makes a powermid that is 2 units, 1 in room u sit, 1 in room with appliance to control. you point the remote at the powermid, and it sends the signal via radio waves to the receiver unit in the other room. It has an IR led that rebroadcasts your signal to the IR sensor built into your dvr. There were also devices that sent the signal down the coax to a box in the other room and then rebroadcast the signal to the device. Do a google search for remote control extenders and maybe try ebay or local sat dealer. hope this answers what you were asking. m
