Need help with my dish network

Hey, I leave in Greensboro, NC. i have two dish one Big one is dish pro with dual HD LNB and one small small dish 500 with in LNB, I just replace the recevie to VIP612 DVR and Free HD channel and i have international channel but i am not getting all my HD channel and international are coming and going sometime there are losing single and i do not know what to do. please help.

Do you know which sats you are pointed at? Sounds to me like a 61.5/110/119 setup. Internationals have been moved from 61.5, as well as all HD except locals. Internationals have been moved to 118.7 and national HD to 72.7.

Better to know where your HD locals are, you may be better off with 1000+ dish to receiver 110, 119, 118 and 129.

I agree that you likely have a 119/110/61.5 "mixed" arc setup, which will cause you to be missing channels.

Press menu-6-1-3, and tell us what satellites are showing up in field G

It looks like your small dish is not hooked up. You would need to attach a cable from the small dish (D500) to your big dish (D500+). The small dish would need to be pointed at 61.5. Run a check switch after the cable is attached and the dish is pointed to 61.5.

The ideal setup for the OP is Eastern arc with a wing dish for 118.7 (61.5/72.7/118.7)
