We have 4 bedrooms. The kids all have TVs in their bedrooms with over the air antenna. I have 4 orby receivers so in the evenings they are taking the living room receiver to one of the bedrooms.
Would it be possible for orby to charge a small fee for receivers beyond the 4 standard receiver limit without having to open another separate account?
I understand providers have a limit.

I'd suggest using an A-B switch near the splitter to route the signal between rooms rather than having a splitter network.

I suspect that the four receiver split is mostly an insertion loss issue and amplification might be problematic if both OTA and satellite frequencies are in play.

To address signal loss concerns, use a standard amplified sat./terr. multi-switch. Connect the Orby LNBF to the 13V / 22 OFF port and connect as many STBs as the switch allows. Rather than a technical question, this is a subscription issue.

I asked Orby on their Facebook if I could have 5 receivers and was told that I could purchase as many as I wanted but can only have 4 on a account..5th one would have to be on a separate account..So then after getting this reply I called and got the same answer... Anything after 4 would have to be on a separate account.

I sort of wish they would even just charge a small fee to run receiver #5 and 6.
We have a large home and TVs everywhere. I am currently modulating a couple of the orby boxes with remote repeaters. I bought a couple extra remotes. But I still have a small limitation of a couple TVs have to view the same channel. It works.
