Pompano beach, Fl
I have direct tv. Whole package. Especially for NFL
Ticket.
One of main reasons I bought NFL ticket
Was to watch my Ny jets with my dad.
A ritual we have done since I was a kid.
Dad, who lives 25 minutes north now has
Onset of dementia and can't walk.

In short cannot come to my house anymore to
Watch the jets.

My folks currently have comcast and to
Difficult to switch.

They do have a Direc sat dish still
Up for about 7 years not used.

Since we love to watch football together
Is there anyway to share my acct?
Or do I have to start a new acct ?

How about stream from my iPhone
NFL ticket to Apple TV ?

You can't have a box at each house, but you could bring one of yours to their place as long as the two locations aren't watching at the same time. A slingbox is an option, too.

Put a box there, and let them use cable unless you are over watching the game with them.

Grey area perhaps but technically within the rules.

Actually it's not within the rules, technically or otherwise. As long as no one is at both locations at the same time, it's no big deal.

Thanks guys.
Can I use any HD receiver?
Also, I might need to run new lines?
I guess hire an independent guy right?

Slingbox is an idea.
Will it run HD?
Also which one should I pick up.
Plus is it easy to connect to my HR44?

Thanks so much

I'm only one using any location.
Rest of my family are my wife and 2
Daughters. All despise football.
Plus they only use my dish service.

Very easy to hookup. Any of the HD Slingboxes will work. You'll need something at your dad's house to watch your Slingbox on his TV. Roku, Apple TV or PC or laptop with HDMI out to his TV.

thanks for all your help! took completely different more money route.
As an anniversary gift, 66 years this thursday, i just set up a new direct acct.
Hr44 and Mini, 100 credit NFL free, free premiums 3 months, free HD sports pack.
46 bucks.
Maybe not cheapest route but its just money right?
