Need some help... no PG after hard reset

Hey guys, I'd like to ask you for some tips.

I did a hard reset this morning and it's been almost 2 hours since and still, no programming guide is being shown at all.

Any ideas?

Have the channel indicators coming down yet? Meaning (HBO, Moov, etc). If not, I would try another reset because it shouldn't take that long to populate the guide.

Personally I don't think it matters, but I was advised to tune to channel 100 and leave the STB alone for at least an hour to keep from having problems.

In practice If I know what I'm looking for I tune in the channel and watch TV.

Like the previous poster said, first the channel markers come in.... then the local channel PG, then the rest.

I have had problems with the PG after reseting the STB. I have had to reset it sometimes. If you do not get PG after a restart. You should attempt to restart the STB again.

Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to get a PG.

Thanks guys... after a couple of extra hard resets (and an additional 1.5 hours), I was able to get my PG back... I guess it was just my STB being a smart-ass.
