Hello everyone,
I was recently locked out of viewing tv with the recent change from analog to digital. I currently own a general instrument DSR4200V and i would like to know if it is possible to get this device programmed since it is MPEG2/digicipher2 compatible. I would also like to know where can i get this device activated? All hints would be greatly appreciated and i would like to thank you all in advance.
 
If it's not a consumer-model descrambler I doubt you'll have much luck getting it authorized. There was some talk in the past about using commercial DC2 boxes but I don't know if anybody ever succeeded in getting one activated. You could try NPS, call and ask them. xxx.callnps.com/
change the x's to w's of course.
