Netflix reverses course, abandons Qwikster

Netflix Inc. is abandoning its widely panned decision to separate its DVD-by-mail and Internet streaming services because it would make them more difficult to use.

Subscribers will be able to use both services under one account and one password, CEO Reed Hastings said Monday in a blog post

The original decision was pretty stupid as many have pointed out. A little consumer research would have likely uncovered the problem. He's pretty arrogant and this time it bit him in the ass. With the stock worth half of what it was 4 months ago, I'll be surprised if he keeps his job if things don't improve.

Only with new coke, they got extra shelf space, at least for a while. Can't see any upside to this NF fiasco.
