Its fine if it does as long as they add channels such as Travel HD before that. If they add QVC before some of the most requested HD channels then a lot of people are going to be upset.

I'm very surprised it hasn't been added yet considering the common ownership.

Very true and one would think it will be added very soon. It is highly requested so I am hoping in September they will add it. I keep on checking this site and directv's website daily to see if there is any new news on HD channels.

all these companies need to stop this exaggeration of the hd count. it's really getting out of hand especially with comcast.

In the new commercial Comcast seems to be only counting the Directv HD channels which are actually showing HD content at the time quoted. It's a game, of course (I wouldn't count channels like MTV which have yet to show ANY HD, AFAIK) and all players are participating.

Comcast in chicago is actually very good. That commerical is obviously BS but comcast does have 54 actual HD channels here, some which directv does not have.
