Hi all
it has been a while since I have visited but...
I am a loyal d* customer for 4 years now. no complaints.
I have gotten a free hd dvr
free hd receiver
free dvr
I currently have my d* service bundled with verizon local/long distance and dsl.
So my parents just got a sweet tv and are looking at the hd market.
Theoretically they are looking to get hd programming and eventually an hd dvr. I know that getting an hd dvr at low cost to lease can be tough so we may want to leave that out of the equation for now.
anyone have experience over the best method for them to order their direct tv, if they go with it?
bundling with verizon triple play would seem to be the best bet in the end, though fios is somehow not available in central NJ.
any thoughts or recent experience?
Would ordering from someone other than verizon and then bundling afterwards make sense?
any help would be great. we are both researching of course as we speak.
if this is the wrong area for this post I apologize
thanks

Moderator, please move to DirectTV forum.

I would recomed calling verizon, and directv, seperately, and see who will give you the best deal. You can usually get a HD-DVR for $99 as a new customer.

I moved your question to the directv area BTW.

lol how the heck did i post in the dish forum
sorry guys
:)
