New HD-DVR replacing basic Receiver?

I Bought my wife a new HD-DVR for her new LCD TV to replace her basic Direct box and TV. I bought both at Bestbuy. I didn't get a new card for my HD-DVR. Can Bestbuy give me a HD Card for my new receiver or do I have to contact DirectTv???

Do they not include access cards in the box these days? The should be a tiny envelope with a security seal on it. Look close again and post back.
