New here but not new to Dish Network

I have had Dish Network for a year and I am now upgrading to DVR service on standard definition.

I was wondering which DVR receiver I am going to get. The CSR was speaking way too fast for my wife to understand her and she didn't answer the question when asked.

So I am curious which model I will get because I am not sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

I love Dish network BTW with the exception of them not carrying TVOne. But that's not another issue.

522 and 625 are very similar boxes. Difference between them is the size of the Hard drive. We have a 625 and like it. Not sure what else you are looking for in terms of info. Specific questions would help.

You really have had your questions answered. And calling will get you nowhere. The installer will bring whichever model is available in your area. Right now, 625 is in short supply.

The only real difference between the 522 and 625 is the size of the hard drive, determining how many hours you can record. They are both dual tuner, dual output DVRs. I have a 625 and I love it.

I called DN and they said I would be getting the 625 and it will be delivered tomorrow.
