My hr20 will be installed next week.

I was wondering if it will come with the new white interface on it/will it update to the newest software when i pluf it in?

It should come with the new white interface. I had mine installed last night and that's what interface it has. Also, yes, I believe it will download the newest software when it's activated.

Yes it will have the most current software when you do the initial set up (Note : thats the National release, not the CE.)

I had mine installed about 6 months ago. When they did the inital setup, the receiver updated the software 3 times in a row. The installer thought there might be something wrong with the receiver, but everything worked out fine after the last download.
